Curiosity as a way of life. It means staying tuned in—both inward and outward. Embracing the eclectic, wherever it shows up, and finding joy in it. I can delight in avant-garde opera just as much as in impressionist paintings, in Israeli pop culture as well as pop art. When I create—be it art, graphic design, or even ceramics—I meet Marie Antoinette and Audrey Hepburn, comic book characters, childhood candy, Mexican wrestlers, my father the pilot who brought home treasures from faraway lands, and my mother’s perfectly done nails. I’m always collecting. And when I create, I remember—again and again.
Years in the world of advertising shaped the way I see and express ideas. I’ve always loved the smell of ink and the texture of paper. Screen printing allows me to express myself, and it’s where my love for image-making and storytelling comes to life—layer by layer, color by color.
